Cody Riley is a young singer-songwriter from Trinidad, Texas, currently travelling the state with his band. Riley has 3 cds out so far, and is currently writing songs for his next album. While 3 cds is not a huge output, the band has been playing full time for the past few years. This is actually an impressive feat, as Riley is only 19 years old, soon to turn 20. His latest, “Small Town Rockstars”, has been out for about a year and has gotten a lot of critical acclaim. Riley and his band are in the middle of a short Hill Country tour, having played Cheatham St Tuesday, Saxon Pub Wednesday, Cheatham St again as a headliner on Thursday, and will be at Texas Mist in Austin tonight and Poodies Hilltop on Saturday. Cody answered 10 questions for me.
