The 16th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival takes place Sept. 30 – Nov. 13, 2011 at Walt Disney World Resort.
The Disney food event offers the opportunity to enjoy tapas-sized portions of global cuisine and drinks by stopping at the various Marketplace Kiosks that surround Epcot’s World Showcase. Here’s a quick look at what’s available at Fife & Drum, with a bite-sized review of what I sampled.

Epcot Food & Wine: Fife & Drum bite-sized review*
The lone entry at Fife & Drum is the Red Stag Lemonade with Jim Beam, a slushie drink. The 6 oz. frozen drink s adds a cherry flavor to the lemonade without becoming overwhelmingly sweet. But the smoothness of the alcohol disappears, which is a pity for those who like bourbon.
Also, the lemonade masks the flavor of the alcohol, it’s a stronger drink than it at first appears. Its strength, in part, explains the lemonade’s small size. Still, the drink is overpriced for what it is.
Although I’m a fan of Jim Beam’s high-end offerings, unless you’re a completist at the festival I recommend skipping this “kiosk.” Instead, enjoy Fife & Drum’s other drinks or focus on the Marketplace Kiosks focused on Food & Wine options.

*A tasting note about reviews: As with any reviews, these Food & Wine mini-bites reflect my experience at the festival on a given day; the quality of preparation, portion sizes, dominant flavors, and so forth may vary.
