Week 2 of the 2011 NFL fantasy football league is almost upon us. Some of you who are in “winner take all odds” pools know you must come up big again! This can be a tough business, but let’s get down to it!
“I love playing fantasy football.” Mike B. of Warren said. “This week should be even better for me. I have Aaron Rogers and Calvin Johnson!”
The home town Detroit Lions should have a good week this Sunday when they open at home vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. If you have some Leo’s on your fantasy team, get’em ready to roll!
Aaron Rogers (GB) — (A must start! 2/1 odds) Rogers faces rookie Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers this week. Last week Rogers and Newton had incredible games, and if have them on your team you did well. This week the veteran will rise again. Rogers is a must over Carolina.
Mike Vick (PHI) — (2nd best play of the week 5/1 odds) Vick returns to Atlanta to face the Falcons and the city he started in. The Eagles and Falcons are both expected to do well this season. Vick will be extra pumped for this game!
Tom Brady (NE)— (3rd best Chargers “D” is better than the Dolphins, but Brady will get it done 5/1 odds) Brady probably won’t throw for 500 yards every week, but he will do well in the home opener this Sunday against San Diego.
Jahvid Best (DET) — (Should bring the $$$ this week) The Chiefs looked terrible against Buffalo in week 1. The Lions will pound the ball at them this week.
Ray Rice (BALT)— (Should be BIG! Even money plus) This diamond in the rough is a great play against Tennessee this week. could he get 150 yards plus?
Cavin Johnson (DET) — Should get over a buck and a couple Touchdowns vs. the Chiefs…if not more!
Andre Johnson (HOUSTON) — Miami is still having nighmares about Tom brady. They wake up to see Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson…UGHHH!
1. Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh! (#1 Play, even money odds! Get them NOW!) The Steelers will take out an embarrassing loss to Baltimore on the Sewhawks!
2.Baltimore Ravens – They are for real folks, the Titans will know that soon.
3. Detroit Lions – This team has been on fire. They held Tampa Bay down. The 27-20 final last week was only that close because of 2 big special teams play by the Bucs.
This is going to be one exciting week in the NFL!
