The Milwaukee Admirals are back on home ice this weekend for a pair of games.
The American Hockey League team will team up with Lee Jeans to help the Susan G. Komen fight against breast cancer.
The special pink jerseys the team will wear will help raise money for the effort to fight the disease that will affect one in eight women in our lifetime.
It’s all part of the Ads’ annual “Hunt for Pink October” campaign during this, Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The Jane Pettit Rink at the Bradley Center, the friendly confines for the AHL franchise, will host the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday, October 29th at 7 p.m. and the Texas Stars on Sunday, October 30th with a 3 p.m. faceoff.
The jerseys are being auctioned off online at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com through 4 p.m., CDT, on Friday, October 28th.
Proceeds from the auction, ticket sales and other fundraising efforts will be donated to Lee National Denim Day, which has raised nearly $80 Million since 1996.
Country music sensation Craig Morgan will perform in a special post-game concert on Saturday night.
Specials for Sunday afternoon include Private Bank Family Skate where fans can bring their skates and tool around the ice after the contest.
Family friendly prices are also in effect.
