The Honorable Senator Richard Skerritt, Minister of Tourism and International Transport for St. Kitts & Nevis was in Toronto on October 27th to launch a promotional campaign to build awareness of the island as a winter destination for Canadians.
“We want Canadians to know that although St. Kitts is best known as a luxury destination, there is a wide range of affordable options on the island,” said Minister Skerritt.
A key factor in the tourism campaign is Air Canada’s new non-stop weekly flight service to St. Kitts from Toronto which will launch on December 23, 2011 for the peak winter 2011/2012 travel season which ends April 6, 2012. The weekly non-stop flight will depart from Toronto on Fridays.
If you act fast you can take advantage of a special promotion for travel to the Caribbean islands of St. Kitts & Nevis this winter. Book an Air, Hotel and Transfer package with Air Canada Vacations by October 31, 2011 and you’ll receive free seat selection and access to the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge. Or, you can choose to upgrade to Executive Class service for only $149.00 per person round-trip.
St. Kitts & Nevis also launched a new website www.stkittstourism.kn to assist travellers in planning excursions and experiences on the island. If you’re planning a destination wedding, getting married on St. Kitts is easy and the license fee is just $200 (XCD).
