Enjoy Fabulous Features
IM+ Pro will even record incoming Skype calls and send you a link to the recorded voice file or you can choose to have all incoming calls rejected. In ICQ, you can block authorization requests from users not on your contact list. The app also offers LED notification and custom sounds for incoming messages. Best of all, there is no cost per message, so you can send photos, videos, voice messages, and IMs for free.
What more could you want from a mobile IM app? IM+ Pro is the all-in-one communication tool to have at your fingertips.
IM+ Pro All-in-One Messenger has a 4.1-star rating in the Android Market, and a 2.5-star rating in the Amazon Appstore.
We’re back to the old “why the big difference between the Android Market rating and the Amazon Appstore rating.” We have to think it’s because folks on the Amazon Appstore tend to rate without trying the app at all.
For example, this app was downgraded because there is a free version. The reviewer seemed to confuse the free version with the Pro version (which is also in the Android Market, by the way). A little homework would have cleared that up.
Another downgraded the app because of the price, giving it 1-star. That’s unfair to the developer; at least try the app before rating it. It’s not the first such “didn’t even try the app” rating we’ve seen on the Appstore. It’s actually pretty common.
Those who are considering “buying” a Free Amazon Appstore app might want to consider what it means to developers.
Amazon.com opened up the Appstore despite a lawsuit by Apple, which has previously trademarked the term “App Store.” Microsoft has filed an appeal against that trademark, saying the term is too generic. Amazon.com has responded to the lawsuit in the same manner.
