Whenever a couple exists in the public spotlight, such as with Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, they can expect that the media and bystanders will analyze their every move. Putting up a front in public can help avoid these situations, but if something does happen in public, it doesn’t always mean the end. Everyone has disagreements every once in a while.
However, with the speculation that has surrounded the marriage of Kardashian and Humphries the last couple of weeks, any negativity will make people wonder. This week, TMZ captured video of Kardashian and Humphries arguing in her car outside a restaurant. It isn’t clear what the couple fought about, but it is clear that neither one is happy.
At the end of the argument, Kardashian and Humphries share a quick kiss like any other married couple would after a fight. This can actually be a positive sign, but the truth is, no one knows. The couple has been obviously unhappy the last few weeks, but unhappy doesn’t always equal the end.
Sometimes, speculation from the media can do more damage than good. Kardashian’s brother, Rob, who is currently on Dancing with the Stars, has publicly addressed the couple’s supposed marriage problems. He is reported to have said that the couple is doing just fine.
Some may argue that the reason Kardashian and Humphries have experienced so many problems in their young marriage is their brief courtship. The couple dated only nine months before getting married. They haven’t even been together an entire year yet. That doesn’t leave very much time for a couple to get to know each other. Add to that the living arrangements with sister, Kourtney, her boyfriend and their son, and Kardashian and Humphries haven’t had time alone as a couple yet.
While no one can tell you how long is long enough, it is important to spend as much time as possible with the other person before committing to marriage. However, just because you may experience rough spots in your marriage doesn’t mean you have to give up. If both people are willing to work hard at recovering the marriage, there is still hope.
