The History Channel documentary series is winding down its ancient astronaut theory docu-series, “Ancient Aliens”. These one hour-long programs air on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bright House Networks, channel 25, in Tampa Bay. Each week a different subject had been explored on this fascinating point of view we never learned in school.
In episodes 1-11 it centered on aliens and the Wild West, monsters, sacred places, temples of gold, mysterious rituals, ancient engineering, plagues and epidemics, lost worlds, deadly weapons, evil places and the Founding Fathers.
Now the last remaining episodes of season 3 will take a further look at other unique topics brought to you by the “Ancient Aliens” consulting producer, Giorgio Tsoukalos. In addition, the author of “Chariots of the Gods?” as well as the pioneer of ancient alien hypotheses, Erich von Daniken, is a featured commentator on the series. Be on the lookout for Season 4 in 2012 of “Ancient Aliens.”
Aliens and Deadly Cults
A different look at certain cults since ancient times involving human sacrifices, unholy rituals, narcissistic rulers and mass suicides. Were these man-made or from alien origins? Some of the modern day cults highlighted were Heaven’s Gate lead by Marshall Applewhite. In 1997 the San Diego based religious group member’s committed suicide to await for an alien space craft. Other similar cult leaders heard voices telling them to have their followers commit horrific acts such as Jim Jones and Charles Manson. Were these voices misinterpreted by them or have an extraterrestrial sinister agenda behind it?
Aliens and the Secret Code
One of the most fascinating episodes of the season discusses how all the megalithic monuments are linked together through electromagnetic energy such as Stonehenge, the Giza Pyramids and Machu Picchu as one example. A secret code with advanced mathematical calculations has been carved into many of the landmarks. Is it a mere coincidence these prehistoric ruins are all arranged in a remarkably straight line around the world? Could these have been built, then connected so perfectly by humans or was it alien intervention?
Aliens and the Undead
The final episode of season three talks about the ancient Egyptians preserving their pharaohs after they died, so when the gods, or aliens, return to earth their embalmed bodies will come back to life. Coffins and graveyards were utilized to preserve the dead from rising out of their graves. Are zombies, vampires, and other blood-sucking creatures simply mythical or alien in nature? Native Americans shamans, voodoo priests and other spiritual figures act as an intermediary to the deceased or is it the outerworld?
