David – “How long have you been playing Magic and how did you learn how to play?”
Michael – I played Magic: the Gathering from Unlimited through Ice Age. then just picked it up again recently within the last three months. I learned how to play Magic when I worked at a gaming/comic store.
David – “How has playing Magic made an impact on your life?”
Michael – It was my life for years. I worked at a gaming/comic store and sold magic, built decks for beginners, held tournaments. Now [Magic] has brought me and my family together. I play with my wife, step-daughter 14, step-son 9 and my daughter 7. We do a family game almost every night. It has brought us closer together. It has helped the little kids with their math and reading skills. Its been great.
David – “What is your favorite format? Favorite card?”
Michael – As for format…. well I play mostly at home and all the decks here at home would fall under modern. I do play a Golem deck, so I would have to say one of those is my favorite. I have yet to try out EDH, but want to. As for my favorite card… well that would be any thing right now that prolifirates.
David – “What kind deck are you currently tinkering with?”
Michael – I am tinkering with all the decks my kids have recently built ( one each ) but mostly my prolifirate and/or Golem tourny deck.
David – “Is there anything else you’d like to add?”
Michael – Thanks for the chance to win some free cards. Our family thanks you. We appreciate it.
