The last episode of America’s Next Top Model saw Angelea move from the bottom two to the top photo.
This episode, Angelea is feeling confident. Bianca is sulking – feeling like she’s better than everyone else. The girls are supposed to be getting ready for their next photo shoot; but of course, that can’t be drama-free.
Shannon comes up with a system to ensure everyone gets time to talk to their families before they leave. Unfortunately, her math is off. When Bianca calls her on it, Shannon flips out. I’m not a Bianca fan; but this time she’s in the right. Lisa jumps in and what was a minor confrontation is now a major one.
The challenge is at the Santa Monica pier. Miss Jay tells them they will be doing a runway show on a moving carousel – having to step off and on the ride while it’s moving. They will be modeling from the Kardashian collection. Kim, Courtney, and Khloe are on hand to promote their Sears brand. (Can these girls 15 minutes PLEASE be over?
Lisa does a good job. Miss Jay isn’t happy with the way she shows off, but Khloe seems to like it. Allison stumbles getting off the carousel, but recovers nicely. The rest of the girls have varying degrees of success. Miss Jay says Angelea reminds him of someone’s alcoholic aunt. Bianca seems off her game. You can see her carry all of her problems on her face.
The Kardashians couldn’t pick one favorite so they call it a tie between Lisa and Bre. The girls each win an outfit from the girls’ clothing line.
After the challenge, Miss Jay calls out Bianca out about her performance. He tells her that she needs to find a way to get over it if she wants to be here. The drama continues. Some of the girls just want Bianca to leave if she can’t handle the pressure. Bre runs to Bianca and tells her. It seems to give Bianca a kick in the pants.
The photo shoot this episode is a Michael Jackson inspired shoot. LaToya Jackson is on hand to help the girls channel her brother. The girls will each be posing as a different version of Michael. Bianca, of course, identifies with Michael because he was persecuted, too. All the girls do pretty well. Angelea struggles a little bit, but it’s because she’s trying too hard. Lisa is over the top, but when isn’t she?
More drama between Shannon, Lisa, and Bianca. Hohummm.
At panel, LaToya is the guest judge. Shannon gets a lot of compliments; you can see Bianca seething. Angelea gets mixed reviews. Allison had the Jackson Five era Michael, and her shot is amazing. Lisa’s shot isn’t great. She always ends up in the splits and the judges question her versatility. Bianca’s photo is called timid. Tyra calls Bianca out about her outbreak. Bianca plays persecuted princess very well. During deliberations, the judges talk about the negative energy surrounding Bianca.
Tyra brings the girls in to make the announcement. Tyra tells the girls that this week LaToya made all of the decisions – ranking the girls from top photo to worst.
- Top photo – Laura
- #2 – Shannon
- #3 – Dominique
- #4 – Allison
- #5 – Alexandria
- #6 – Kayla
- #7 – Bre
- #8 – Bianca
That leaves Angelea and Lisa in the bottom two. Tyra tells Angelea she needs to be more consistent. Lisa is told she has one look. Tyra lets LaToya make the decision to decide who’s going home. LaToya tells them that since her brother was about love and giving, so no one goes home this week.
The girls are shocked, but happy. Angelea doesn’t know who saved her whether it was LaToya, Michael or Jesus. She’s just glad someone still wants her to be there.
