Anwar Al Awlaki was considered to be one of the most dangerous terrorists of Al Qaeda and was added to the United States “kill or capture list” last year.
Anwar Al Awlaki’s role as a radical preacher spreading and inspiring violent Jihad, in part stemmed from his familiarity with American culture and his fluency in English. He spread jihad through charismatic speeches, videos, and internet social media posts.
