Many Atlanta small businesses have gone ‘pink’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Restaurants have created drinks and foods to dedicate to the cause and share the proceeds with the Susan G. Komen Atlanta Foundation. Other business owners will contribute a portion of the sales during the month of October (some will donate money throughout the year). There is still time to join the fight to eliminate breast cancer, visit some of Atlanta’s best ‘pink’ local sponsors and support the cause.
J. Christopher’s Pumpkin Pancakes (October 1st – 31st)
For every order of pumpkin pancakes placed in the month of October, J. Christopher’s will donates $1 to Susan G. Komen Atlanta.
Coffee for Your Cause (October 14th – December 31st)
Coffee for Your Cause is an ongoing program. Coffee lovers order locally roasted coffee from Java Culture Roasting Co. or Organo Gold Coffee. Thirty percent of the proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen Atlanta, log onto www.coffeeforyourcause.org.
Cowlicks Yogurt & Floats: Cindy’s Pink Hope Float (October 1st – 31st)
Star 94’s, Cindy Simmons created Cindy’s Pink Hope Float. The drink consists of fresh strawberries, Very Strawberry non-fat yogurt, graham cracker crumbs, and Sprite. Throughout the month 20% of sales from Cindy’s Pink Hope Float will be donated to Atlanta’s Young Survival Coalition.
Flip Burger Boutique’s Go Pink Shake (October 1st – 31st)
Chef Richard Blais has created the ‘Go Pink Shake’, 10% of sales from the drink throughout the month of October will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Atlanta Foundation.
Shula’s 347 Grill’s Pinktini (October 1st – 31st)
During the month of October every Pinktini purchased $1 will be dontated to The Sport of Giving, a nonprofit organization founded to support cancer initiatives throughout metro Atlanta.
RA Sushi’s ONEHOPE Wine & Pink Roll (October 1st – 31st)
RA Sushi will donate 100% of the profits from the sale of the ONEHOPE Wine and Pink Roll combination to the National Breast Cancer Foundation®. The combination includes the Pink Roll, which features shrimp, kani kama crab mix and sriracha combined with lettuce, avocado and cucumber wrapped in pink soy paper and served with a pink ribbon of strawberry sauce and a glass of ONEHOPE California Chardonnay for $15.
Urban Flats Atlanta’s Urban Pink Drink (October 1st – 31st)
Urban Flats Atlanta is offering the Urban Pink cocktail featuring premium vodka, combined with strawberry and other fruit flavors for $8. They will donate $1 for every sale to breast cancer research and awareness.
American Classic Tavern and Dublin Pub’s: Drink & Eat Pink for the Cure (November 1st & November 8th)
Wrap up the Breast Cancer Awareness celebration. American Classis Tavern will donate 10% of all sales on November 1st. Dublin Pub will donate 10% of all sales on November 8th. All proceeds from both restaurants will go to Susan G. Komen Atlanta.
Sage Clothing Breast Cancer Awareness Tees (September 30th – October 31st)
Sage has creatively phrase t-shirts for sale for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 50% of proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen Atlanta Foundation.
Red Vine Creations Breast Cancer Tree Scarf (January 28th – December 31st)
Red Vine Creations has created a breast cancer tree scarf to create awareness about breast cancer. There will be $3 donated from each sale to Susan G. Komen Atlanta.
Meeks Heating & Air’s “Think Pink…Go Green!” (October 19th – December 31st)
Meeks Heating and Air has introduced “Think Pink…Go Green!”, in an effort to increase breast cancer awareness. A portion of each system sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen Atlanta. Donations are as follows: 13-15 SEER System $150, 16 SEER System $300, 18 SEER System $500 and GeoThermal System $1000.
The Pink Plumber (All throughout the year)
The Pink Plumber also known as Aames Plumbing will clear any drain for $99 during the month of October. They donate 10% of their net profits to breast cancer research all year round.
It is not too late to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month if you have not done so already. Stop by or go online when appropiate and donate to the cause.
