KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) — Jeanine Pirro, show host of Fox News ‘ Justice with Judge Jeanine, appeared on NBC’s Today Show Monday addressing concerns that missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin’s mother has changed the timeline of when she last saw her baby, and the mother’s comment that she believes she’ll be arrested soon.

When asked why Lisa’s mother, Deborah “Debbi” Bradley would change her story, Judge Jeanine said, “When you have a missing 10-month-old baby the truth is absolutely essential. Minutes count,” she said.
Judge Jeanine said, “I spoke with the mother, Deborah, and the father [Jeremy Irwin] at length, eye-to-eye. I said to her, ‘What time did you put Baby Lisa to bed?’ she said ‘I put her to bed several hours earlier than the last time I checked on her which was at 10:30 [p.m.]

“Now two weeks later we come back with a new time? Why is that?” Judge Jeanine asks.
“Time is essential. It creates new windows and new areas of investigation. That is very, very concerning,” she said.
Asked if maybe the change in Deborah’s story had to do with the fact she was trying to conceal she was drunk and what the repercussions of that might be, Judge Jeanine said, “We know she was buying that box of wine just before 5 o’clock. I spoke to the store clerk about that purchase. She [Deborah] seemed fine. She bought baby wipes, she bought baby food.
“But it would explain why she didn’t hear the baby monitor. Why she didn’t hear the dog barking. But now she comes out and says ‘I was drunk.’ You know, people were believing her because her story was consistent. I spoke with her. She was very consistent. The neighbor said she loved that baby, the store clerk said she was a wonderful mother, the baby was always appropriately dressed and in good health.
“Now she comes out with ‘the last time I saw my baby was at 6:40, and by the way I was drunk’? You know, this isn’t the kind of thing that you want to bring out after the fact when time is essential here. A 10-month-old is missing,” Judge Jeanine said.
When asked why police want to re-interview Baby Lisa’s two half-brothers, ages 6 and 8, and why the family would refuse, Judge Jeanine says, “We know the mother was drinking with the next door neighbor and her 4-year-old daughter who was watching videos with her sons. The opportunity to speak to the sons about someone they may have seen at or around the house.”
Judge Jeanine said the Kansas Police Department is doing a fantastic job. She said they picked up a homeless man known as “Jersey” who hadn’t been seen since the baby was missing. “Every piece of the puzzle,” she said, “becomes extremely important. Time is essential,” she stressed again.
“Now you come out and say it was 6:40 – four hours before I told you last week, not good,” Judge Jeanine said.
Asked if the Kansas City Police Department is, at the same time as keeping an eye on the family, doing a parallel investigation? Looking at the possibility this could be a stranger abduction case?
Judge Jeanine said, “There’s no question. They are looking at all avenues. They have left no stone unturned. They have gone and spoken to sexual predators who were saying ‘Hey, we were waiting for you to come talk to us’. This is a very competent department. They keep it close to the vest. And this whole idea about her saying she’s being arrested, I don’t believe that’s the case. Nothing that I’ve heard on the ground indicates that that is imminent.”
