I scream, you scream we ALL scream for Ice Cream!
Baskin-Robbins came out to support young Hollywood stars as they were honored for their charitable contributions at the Variety Power of Youth presented by the HUB, held at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon.
Variety’s 5th Annual Power of Youth event honored young Hollywood starts such as Hayden Panettiere for her work on behalf of The Whaleman Foundation, Hailee Steinfeld for her support of No Kid Hungry, Angus T. Jones for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Rico Rodriguez for his efforts at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, Chloe Moretz for The Film Fund, Darren Criss for his support of The Trevor Project and Bailee Madison for her work with Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Singing phenom Greyson Chance wowed the crowed with his newest single, ‘Hold On Til the Night’.
Celebs were “treated” to the some of their favorite Baskin-Robbins flavors, including the popular flavor of the month, Trick OREO® Treat (Vanilla ice cream packed with orange créme filled OREO® cookies, Baby Ruth®, and Butterfinger® candy pieces.) It’s terrifyingly delicious!
The goal of the Variety Power of Youth campaign is to encourage the next generation of entertainers to support philanthropic and humanitarian causes and use their positions in popular culture to inspire the millions of people who look up to them to do the same. Since its launch in 2007, the Variety Power of Youth effort has generated more than $800,000 in support of charitable causes through sponsorship, auctions and cash donations, and 100% of the net proceeds raised have been passed directly on to the charitable beneficiaries.
