One of the ghost legends that prevails in Burleson is the tale about Bethesda Road. In the 30s or 50s there was a horrible accident when a school bus full of children got stalled on the railroad tracks and was hit by an oncoming train. The school children and their driver were killed. I don’t know if any onboard the train met the same fate.
According to legend if you drive by there late at night and put your car in neutral on the tracks that a group of children will push you off the tracks.
Other people have had other experiences with the tracks A couple of young women were crossing the tracks late one night and saw a women watching them. The women had very dark eyes and long hair and only her top half was visible.
Another visitor put baby powder on her truck before reaching the tracks and saw handprints of the powder, when they put their hands on the prints the prints changed.
