The temperatures may be dropping outside, but inside the Palms last night, it was a steamy 98 Degrees.
Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, better known as the hit boy band 98 Degrees (“The Hardest Thing,” “I Do (Cherish You)”), had dinner at Nove Italiano inside the Palms Wed., Oct. 12. The guys enjoyed a selection of salumi, pizzas and pastas as well as the restaurant’s Shrimp Francaise. Earlier in the day, Nick and Justin hung out at the Palms Pool & Bungalows enjoying one of the last warm days of the year.
Located inside the Palms’ Fantasy Tower, Nove Italiano combines inspired design, superb Italian cuisine and unsurpassed energy—not to mention some of the city’s most spectacular views—to create one of the hottest restaurants in town. Visited by numerous celebrities over the years including Martin Lawrence, Britney Spears, Bruce Willis, Rihanna, Jamie Foxx and Kobe Bryant, Nove Italiano transforms the perceptions of Italian dining just as N9NE Steakhouse, situated in the original Palms tower, revolutionized the American steakhouse.
Created by Executive Chef Geno Bernardo, Nove’s menu offers a wide range of crudos (which means “raw” in Italian, often ceviche or sashimi), thin-crust pizzas and a variety of steaks, such as the bone-in filet mignon and rib eye. The restaurant is a unique blend of classical and modern elements, an intriguing combination that permeates both the dining room and the kitchen. A few steps from the hostess stand is a plush, seductive lounge and bar, which is complemented by chic bar stools and a wall of purple-tinted mirrors. Adjacent to the lounge is the main dining room, illuminated by dramatic LED Swarovski crystal chandeliers hanging from a multi-vaulted ceiling covered in high-gloss brass-and-steel mosaic. A private dining room is slightly elevated, but a mezzanine level provides the most dramatic views of the entire restaurant.
Nove Italiano is open Sun.-Thurs. from 5:30–10 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. from 5:30–11 p.m. For more information, visit its official Web site.
