Conrad Murray ongoing trial, what’s happening now (photos, video)
San Francisco residents are finding out in today’s news that on Day 19 of the Michael Jackson/Conrad Murray death trial, the defense lawyers will be calling two expert witnesses.
“It’s an interesting trial,” says San Francisco resident, Carla Dupois. “It will be eye-opening to see what happens in the end.”
Conrad Murray, the doctor in the case, has been charged with the involuntary manslaughter of Jackson.
According to ABC 7 News here in San Francisco, the defense is planning to call on two expert witnesses. Those witnesses will counter the prosecution’s expert witnesses who have already claimed that Conrad Murray abandoned Michael Jackson.
They have also claimed that Michael Jackson died because of an unstable IV drip that put too much propofol into Michael Jackson’s body. Propofol is normally used as an anesthetic to put people to sleep before operations.
Dr. Conrad Murray had originally wanted $5 million to be Jackson’s physician. (See that article here: Michael Jackson death, doctor had wanted $5 million …). He accepted $150,000 a month and was to be Jackson’s doctor during his upcoming tour.
