The head of logistics for Michael Jackson, Alberto Alvarez was one of the witnesses yesterday that was called to testify. He revealed what he experienced on June 25, 2009. Alvarez recounted what transpired on that day, according to his testimony, and he revealed a lot. There were many highlights to the testimony.
The prosecution asked him if he had been approached at any time, especially after Michael Jackson’s passing to do interviews. Alvarez then revealed that he has been asked to do a number of interviews by various media outlets. He was offered much money, anywhere from $200,000-$500,000. Of course, the media outlets likely wanted to know about Michael Jackson, and what he knew if regard to what took place on June 25.
It is certainly evident, that it is a credit to Alberto Alvarez that he did not engage in any interviews. Moreover, he rejected those opportunities to obtain money. One can deduce that Alvarez felt it inappropriate to comment on Michael Jackson, and what took place on June 25, 2009. This is of interest, since Alvarez stated that he has had difficulty obtaining steady work.
What do you think of Alberto Alvarez’ testimony? What do you think of the fact that he did not engaged in interviews, and rejected those opportunities to obtain money?
