There is no excuse not to dance and fly outside under this season’s generous sun, this Saturday, October 1, with Mass Transit Dance and AcroYoga Divine Play. Yes, there will be a FREE outdoor gathering celebrating ecstatic dance, acro-yoga, and community at Lake Merritt Pergola (just across from Lake Merritt Farmer’s Market.)
So go to the Lake Merritt Farmer’s Market Saturday morning, pick out some yummy organic eats to share with everyone, then hop across the street to Lake Merritt Pergola by 11 am for an hour-long AcroYoga class with Jenny Sauer-Klein and Tyler Blank. After some guided flying, hang out in the park, from noon to 5 pm for some outdoor ecstatic dance and jam with Mass Transit and their ecstatic DJs:
11am-noon: AcroYoga class with Jenny Sauer-Klein and Tyler Blank
Noon-5pm: Dance and Jam with Mass Transit and Ecstatic Dance DJs
2pm: Baron von Spirit
3pm: Sol Rising
5pm: one door closes, another opens
So bring your friends, food to share, picnic blankets, and layers (you know how the weather works here!) *And know that the Lake Merritt Farmer’s Market across the street is open until 2pm.
