Tuesday, October 4th, 2011- Week 3 of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ elimination’s found contestant Kristin Cavallari kicked off, leaving Kristin, judges, audience and many home viewers shocked.
Where did Cavallari’s performance go wrong?
Sharing her sad, emotional life story about her deceased parents and self -acceptance, it still appeared that Kristin’s tale was the least-emotional of all the contestants during story week. WSJ.com reported that despite Kristin’s past high ranking scores that viewers may have just found her dilemma to go to college,or to pursue a career in entertainment just too shallow.
J.R. Martinez and Carson Kressley earned some major points with viewers, capturing their hearts with their emotional stories, while Hope Solo and partner Maksim Chmerkovsky found their selves in the bottom two with Cavallari and Mark Ballas.
Chaz Bono’s week 3 performance recap: Chaz Bono has continued to struggle along with his performances receiving the lowest scores the past two weeks. Rumors are circulating that Chaz’s superstar mother Cher has had some influence over viewers votes in hinting she will be in the DWTS’s audiences next week.
The one of the highest scores went to JR Martinez and Karina Smirinoff’s rumba that honored servicemen and service women who don’t make it home, receiving a standing ovation of more than a minute by audience members, all of the contestants competing and had Karina crying emotionally before and after their performance.
Singer Mary J. Blige entertained singing her first hit “Real Love” and her current hit “25/8”.
Week 4’s movie theme promises to be very entertaining with Two-time champion Julianne Hough performing with her brother Derek, plugging her role in the “Footloose” remake.
Who will succeed and fail in week 4?
Right now it appears as if Rikki Lake is a shoe-in giving stellar performances from the start, and Nancy Grace’s weekly improvement seems to provide a little safety net. Chaz Bono, David Arquette and Hope Solo appear to be the three contestants carrying the most risk of being eliminated next, but as week 3 elimination of high scoring Kristin Cavallari has proven,no-one is really safe.
