We have enjoyed two delicious appetizers. Now we are ready for our second course of salad. Keep in mind we are eating light. So my sister and I got the same salad. It was called the Nalo Farms Cucumber, Tomato & Lettuce Salad. It was delicious. The vegetables were very fresh and crisp. The dressing was was called Dean’s Creamy Herb Dressing and really good.
Now it was time for our dinner course. It was time for our sushi extravaganza. Roy’s makes the best sushi. My sister ordered her absolute favorite sushi which is the Lakanilau Roll. It has Wagyu Beef, Snow Crab, Tempura Asparagus, Avocado, Sesame Miso, Truffled Greens. It was so good and for anyone who didn’t think red meat could be incorporated into sushi, this sushi answers this question with a delicious yes.
I ordered the Sunrise at Haleakala. It has Tuna, Yellowtail, Salmon, Avocado, Asparagus Crispy Roll, Spicy Butter Sauce. I loved the combination of ingredients. It was so yummy. I love asparagus and it was cooked perfectly. The beauty of this dish and every dish at Roy’s is each ingredient is carefully done so the dish is not short of a masterpiece. We also got the Lobster California roll. It was delicious and the components of the roll were balanced. It had Lobster Salad, Avocado, Cucumber, Tobikko. We enjoyed our meal so much there was no room for dessert. Well there is always next time.
