Every day, there’s a new step to add on. They are:
- Day 1: Check Your Metabolism
- Day 2: Cut 100 Calories a Day
- Day 3: Add Protein
- Day 4: Eat Every 3 Hours
- Day 5: Drink 3 Iced Drinks a Day: Iced Coffee, Green Tea or Water
- Day 6: Take Zinc
- Day 7: Exercise in Short Bursts
Dr. Oz also mentions inexpensive foods and supplements to help boost metabolism. They are:
- White Bean Extract, also known as Phase-2 or Phaseolamin
- L-Arginine Supplement
- Pickled Peppers
He also mentions his metabolism-boosting snack: A small handful of pistachios and a few dried apricots for fiber and sweetness.
