The bargains at Goodwill seem to get better and better, and today is the day for seniors to take advantage of extra savings. Goodwill’s racks are crammed with tanks, tops, knits, tees, beaded tops, sweaters, suits, skirts, dresses, jeans, trousers, suits and much more. As soon as the racks begin to empty, they almost magically fill right up to overflowing again. There are almost always a few pieces of negligee and a few formals. It’s a great way to spend an hour or two, and hidden treasures are sure to show up. It wouldn’t be surprising if you met people you know there taking advantage of the bargains too.
The thrifty fashion find at Goodwill was four pair of Eddie Bauer bootcut jeans in “like new” condition on the sale rack. Carefully checking zippers and buttons and looking at the bottoms of the legs for any signs of wear showed the jeans to be in excellent condition. They appeard to be identical in every way and were all the same Brand, style, cut, size and length. Sale priced at $1.00 each, the total cost of the jeans was only $4.00.
