The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be sure to have park guests salivating again this year with new additions and old favorites. This popular annual Epcot event begins September 30 with the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon, and runs through November 13. Be sure to stop at the Festival Welcome Center on your way into the park for all of the details on festival seminars, demonstrations, and special events.
You can book reservations online for Party for the Senses, 3D Disney’s Dessert Discovery, Culinary Demonstrations, Mixology Seminars, and Wine & Beverage Seminars. Some events are at an additional fee, but there is plenty to do, see, and taste without spending a lot of extra money. You will want to come prepared to purchase at least a couple of samples of the food and beverages. This year will include brand new marketplaces from The Caribbean, Portugal, and Hawaii. There is also a new Craft Beer stand featuring eight beers.
Don’t hesitate to book available Premium Events. Many are already sold out. Most of the French lunches are sold out, as well as the Italy events. The Italy Food & Beer, Dessert & Wine, and Food & Wine Parings are all sold out. The Italy White Truffle Lunch still has availability and you can book it for $175. The Mexico Tequila Lunch and the Tequila Tastings are sold out as well. Check the website to see what is available and don’t waste any time in making your reservations. There are still some celebrity chef events open, wine and cheese schools, and cheese seminars.
If you plan on sampling a wide variety of food and beverages, you may want to pick up a special Festival-themed mini Disney Gift Card. This makes it extra convenient as you nosh your way around the lagoon, making purchases and sampling foods and wines. You can keep the gift card handy on your person, and not have to fumble through your purse and wallet to find a form of payment as you try to balance your plates and cups of delicious samples. If you are worried about not using the full value of the gift card, it is also accepted at participating locations at the Walt Disney Resort, the Disney Cruise Line, Disney Store locations, and even at the Disneyland Resort.
If you aren’t salivating yet, you will be when you enter the World Showcase and begin smelling all of the wonderful food. If you are bummed that you can’t make it to the Festival this year, the website offers delicious Festival recipes including, pork pot stickers, a California sushi roll, shrimp tacos, and apple strudel- which is a perfect recipe for fall. There is also a recipe for a strawberry balsamic martini. Whether you will or you won’t be attending the Festival, you can host your own Epcot International Food & Wine Festival- themed party. Just serve up these delicious recipes a long with various samples of International wines and beers. You can decorate with the different flags and colors of the various countries that are represented on your own menu. You can even assign your guests to bring a bottle of wine from a specific country or region. The possibilities are endless.

Many favorites are back again, and a few performers are new on the line-up. Concerts are three times a night at 5:15, 6:30, and 7:45. Be sure to stick around after the last concert to see Illuminations, Reflections of Earth. There couldn’t be a better way to end the perfect day of food, wine, friends, and music, than with fireworks!
