Eureka! was excited to introduce their new line of products at the 2011 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, this past August, that will be making their way into the world of the outdoors in 2012. They have enhanced their recreational tent line, expanded on the sleeping bags and for the first time, Eureka! will have a backpack line.
Eureka! has long been known for the high quality products they produce for the outdoor enthusiast. The new backpack line is definitely an added bonus to their already ever expanding line of products that the outdoor adventurer will enjoy. The backpacks are named after peaks in the Adirondacks (Mt. Isolation 65L, Sawtooth 45L, Wolf Jaw 40L, and Panther Peak 30L) and range from your short day trips up to a multi-day expedition. They are constructed of a 420D polyester mini ripstop body with a 600D polyester oxford bottom and features a padded and ventilated back panel with 3D spacer mesh, padded hip belts, slide adjustable sternum straps with whistles, built-in rain covers, and a boxed and padded hydration sleeve that doubles as a laptop/tablet compartment. The packs are reasonably priced ranging from $69.99 to $149.99.
The DualTemp 30/50 sleeping bag is new for 2012. The DualTemp line launched last year with much success as the technology combines asymmetrical amounts of insulation on the chest and backside of the sleeping bag to achieve two different temperature ratings in the same bag. The DualTemp 30/50 features a 66D polyester ripstop shell, Eureka!’s proprietary Rteq insulation and a trapezoidal foot box. There is a regular and long size available in the DualTemp 30/50.
The Copper Canyon recreational tent line is expanding to include the Copper Canyon 4 which is a six-pole cabin-style, four-person tent with a center height of seven feet. The space is pretty amazing in this tent with near-vertical walls, bathtub floors, hanging gear loft organizers, one large D-style door, a full mesh roof, windows on each side for increased ventilation, and high-stash interior pocketing. This tent is ideal for cots with how much space is in it. You can stretch out, relax, and enjoy a nice open area while in the Copper Canyon 4.
This is just a little peek of the exciting new gear that Eureka! will have for adventurers in 2012. In the meantime, check out your local Sportsman Warehouse, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Sport Chalet for the latest Eureka! products available now.
