- This fall, make a statement with a pair of bright colored jeans. Don’t go overboard. You should remember that this is the fall season, and you want to look crisp and warm. The way to incorporate a pair of bright jeans into an outfit correctly would be for you to first, see if you feel comfortable being a daring risk taker. If yes, you should opt for the brightest hues, such as yellow, red, pink, or even a bright cobalt blue. If you’re a bit more modest, the cobalt blue, or any bluish tint will suit your comfortability accordingly, since it’s just a small, but very attractive, twist on the regular blue jeans. Now, the fun part. If you plan on wearing bright denim, you need to be modest with your colors. Let’s face it, you’re not Cyndi Lauper, and you cannot pull off a pair of red jeans, a neon blue shirt, and a pair of yellow boat shoes. To wear these trendy jeans and not look like a fool while doing so, you should pair them with neutral tones. A comfortable, knitted and fitted sweater, in a brown color, with a burgundy houndstooth scarf, and a pair of tan, short, lace-up boots would be a very nice example of something to pair these jeans with. Bright colored denim has been seen on celebs such as: Sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Mischa Barton, Hayden Panettierre, Anna Kendrick, and more!
BOOTS, BOOTS, AND MORE BOOTS!
- All different styles, rises, and, best of all, prices! This fall, wearing a dress, or shorts and top, with metallic ankle boots would be a nice alternative for your painful heels. You acheive a girly look, without looking too delicate. With pants or jeans, you should go for a taller boot, preferably in brown or black, so you look more put-together. Also, if you are considering a knee-high boot, stop right there! You are not going to be able to pull this off attractively, so these types of boots are highly inappropriate if you are trying to achieve a stylish, simple, and chic look. Celebs like Emma Roberts, Leighton Meester, and LIGHTS Poxleitner have been seen sporting stylish kicks.
SWEATERS: NO LONGER THE DREADED GIFT FROM GRANDMA
- Sweaters are a nice way to dress up a plain outfit. There are all kinds of sweaters. My favorite type is the cardigan, an easy-to-wear over sweater that snazzes up your look with a preppy and chic twist, and of course, keeps you warm! You should also try out some new sweaters, only in neutral colors, though, so you aren’t walking around supporting Santa in September. You should try V-neck sweaters, without an undershirt, to prevent yourself from looking like a frumpy 67 year-old. Also, you can try cable-knit sweaters. They’re very thick and cozy, plus they have great knitting designs on them. Emma Watson, Emmy Rossum, and Audrina Patridge look great in their sweaters.
