“As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we have a lot to be celebrating this year with our new album, documentary release and chance to be apart of the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. We are stoked to be able to offer some unique experiences for the true fans on PledgeMusic.com too and excited to contribute to Music Unites,” says Angelo Moore and Norwood Fisher of Fishbone. “We have always been very active with the local Los Angeles school art and music programs and wanted to partner with the Music Unites Organization on a national level as these programs are very important to kids so that they can receive a well rounded education and help inner city youths get the opportunity to continue to express themselves artistically amidst public school budget cuts that often cut their music and arts programs first.”
FISHBONE, with their frenzied, up-tempo music and frantic, euphorically entertaining stage show, will be releasing their highly anticipated new seven song EP, Crazy Glue (DC-Jam Records) on October 11, 2011, along with their monumental documentary, “Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone” on October 7, 2011 at the ReRun Theater in Brooklyn, New York and October 21, 2011 at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in Los Angeles, CA. Crazy Glue will be available for purchase online everywhere and select stores nationwide. A truly engaging fan experience will be available exclusively at PledgeMusic.com starting September 9, 2011. For a limited time, fans will be able to pledge for the music along with limited edition items and experiences, and proceeds will go directly to Music Unites . Music Unites is a non-profit organization besed in New York dedicated to bringing music education to underprivileged children in underfunded inner city school systems.
