(Sarasota, FL) The Florida Football Alliance added the Dade County Chiefs as its 16th team for the 2012 season. The Chiefs will play out of Miami, FL and are owned by Kenny Foster and Mike Snead. “We wanted to be a part of a league with structure, competition and high standards. Everyone knows the FFA is the best league in Florida and we wanted to be a part of the FFA family” said Foster.
Earlier this summer, the FFA announced the addition of the Charlotte County Reign and the Orlando Phantoms to the league which begins its winter/spring schedule in January 2012.
The Florida Football Alliance announced that the Jacksonville Knights, Duval Panthers, Muck City Starrs and the Florida Crusaders will not return in 2012.
The league schedule will be announced in the next few weeks.
