So you’re in the mood for sushi, but tired of going to your usual spot. What do you do? What would anybody do? Get on the wonderful World Wide Web. The results? Pages and pages of sushi bars, sushi restaurants, and sushi grills. With so many options, again- what do you do? Close your eyes and point your index finger on the screen and hope for the best! I hope your finger landed on Fusion Sushi and I’ll tell you why.
First of all, you need to sign up with their mailing list because they send you free money to spend in their restaurant! They will send a $5 certificate- also known as an “e-coupon”- at least once a month, and they’ve even been known to send $20 certificates, where you can use if you spend over $50.00 (and I know firsthand).
Not only do they practically throw money at you, they also offer all kinds of specials via their Facebook and Twitter feeds. For example: bring a friend, buy a sake bomb, and get the second one for free!
Now that I’ve given you the scoop on the freebies, let me go on to the yummies.
One of their most popular items on their menu would be the Blue Crab Hand Roll– $5.99. Delicious, sweet crab piled into crunchy nori. Hand rolls range from $3.99-$5.99. Sushi ranges from $4.99-$6.99, but these are usually offered at 40% off. Premium sushi like Uni (Sea Urchin) is $6.50, and other items on the Premium range from $3.99-M.P. (Market Price).
For those who want more than a couple pieces of sushi check out the rolls section. Fusion Special rolls like the Sushi Blossom (tuna, salmon, albacore, and crabmeat- nori and rice free) is $9.99. Fusion Specials range from $8.99-$12.99.
Let’s not forget their Bento lunches that they offer from 11:30am-4:00pm. You choose a combination of items like BBQ Short Ribs, Salmon Teriyaki, or Gyoza… the list of items go on… and pay $9.95 for two items, or $12.95 for three items. All Bento lunch specials come with a house salad, rice, and miso soup. They also offer dinner plates that range from $11.50-$19.99 and all dinner plates come with a house salad and miso soup.
Last thing I want to mention are the “Sushi Boat Parties”. If you plan on going with a group of people and want to try a little bit of everything- there are four different kinds of “Boat Parties”. The biggest one being the Fusion Boat which includes sushi: Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Albacore, and White Tuna. These also get served in sashimi form. Fusion rolls are also in this boat: Ultimate Albacore roll, Alaska roll, Rainbow Roll, Monster roll, Super Crunch roll, Shrimp Tempura roll, and White Tiger roll. All this for $99.00! Please go to their website to see what ingredients are in the rolls.
With all the specials that Fusion Sushi has- there really is nothing to lose. Just make sure you sign up with their mailing list, “like” their Facebook page, and follow them on Twitter to stay updated on what they have going on.
