Last week on the season premiere of Glee (channel 10 on Fox); Lindsay (runner up in The Glee Project) had her debut performance on Glee. She sparkled, she shined, and she showed Rachel up… in a manner of speaking. Her performance (with the rest of the performers from the college group) left Rachel and Kurt crying in the car and wondering if they were truly good enough to make it in the big bad world. Kurt was the first to pull himself out of the pity party and reminded Rachel of the star she truly is. Rachel returned the favor by reminding him, his was burning just as brightly and she would help him get into the college program as well… this resulted in Kurt running for class president (which would look great on a college application). Lindsay still has one more guest star appearance as her prize from the Glee Project. What did you think of her debut? Feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts.
Damian McGinty (co winner of The Glee Project) won a seven episode guest arc in season four. His first appearance on Glee is set for November 1st and fans are buzzing about this guest star. He will play an Irish exchange student (far stretch there being from Ireland and all) named Rory Flannagan according to TV Guide. Brittany’s family is housing Rory as part of an exchange student program. Brittany (Heather Morris) thinks Damian is her own personal leprechaun (so Brittany) and only she can see him. One of the reasons Damian became co champion last season on The Glee Project was because so many of the ‘Glee’ cast members fell in love with him. This year on Glee he is set to ruffle a few feathers… what would Glee be without a little drama?
Fans know Santana is in love with Brittany. This causes a problem because Rory is smitten with Brittany too (can someone say hot love triangle). Kurt played by Chris Colfer (who is now in a serious relationship with Blaine) who once scoped out all the hot new guys for a hint of a possible relationship now is simply upset with the newcomer because he can sing high notes. Jealously comes in all shapes and sizes. Check out the first picture to the left as well as this week’s preview which airs Tuesday night on Fox.
