Grey’s Anatomy has aired another all-new episode on episode on Channel 15 in Tempe, and fans were given a drama packed look at the lives of those at Seattle Grace as the residents take over things in the operating rooms with their first surgery. According to TV by the Numbers on Friday, 10 million tuned in to watch this week’s episode. On Thursday, Spoiler TV shared the first preview for next week’s new episode titled What Is It About Men. What happened during this episode though? Meredith and Derek are still waiting to hear back on Zola, but the focus is on Meredith performing her first solo surgery. At least, Derek wants the focus to remain on that. She is performing her first aneurysm clip, and she is nervous. She even tries to get someone else to do, especially after Webber tells her if her and Derek aren’t okay, they shouldn’t be in the operating room together. He is right. In the operating room, Derek questions Meredith’s choices, but she is successful with the operation. Back at home that night, he admits he trusts her everywhere but at work, so she says they will just not work together anymore. She will remove herself from his service.
As for the others, Karev deals with nerves, so he goes for the easy operation. However, his easy operation goes fatally wrong for his patient because once inside they see that there is no hope for repairing his bowel. Avery is also dealing with nerves of his own kind as Arizona doubts his ability to perform a delicate procedure on an infant. He gives in to his nerves and her pressure and has Sloan called in. As for Yang, her heart surgery turns into an apendectomy, which doesn’t please her at all. Things are still very rocky between her and Owen as well. However, he is dealing with the pressure of being named Chief of Surgery after Webber steps down. He must learn to deal with the new responsibility, and his first obstacle is Bailey. She is not happy with Webber stepping down at all.
On next week’s all new episode, the men will play. Yes, it is the episode told completely from the male point of view. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
