Hawaii Five-0 returned to Channel 5 in Tempe for its second season on Monday night, and fans now know how Steve McGarrett gets himself out of jail and out from under a murder charge after the events in the season finale. On Tuesday, Spoiler TV shared the first preview for next week’s all new episode, and fans can expect even more changes to come as Kono fights to keep her badge. Tom Sizemore will join the cast on next week’s all-new episode. Check out the preview here. Spoiler TV shared a new season two cast photo as well. During the season premiere, Steve McGarrett escaped from prison after getting into a fight with Victor Hess. When Danno and Chin Ho confront the felon, he tells them he attacked the man to save him because Wo Fat means to kill him and any other loose ends before he disappears. McGarrett and his team work to free him legally by looking for evidence, and they find it. McGarrett’s father had set up a hidden camera in the governor’s office. The footage clears McGarrett’s name, but it also puts a cloud over his father. There is footage of him shaking hands with Wo Fat. By the end of the episode, Wo Fat has killed Victor Hess, and it looks like one of the 5-0 team has been playing both sides.
Tv By The Numbers reported on Tuesday morning that 12 million tuned in to watch the Hawaii Five-0. CBS won big for the night as well with Two and a Half Men bringing in almost 28 million viewers to watch the debut of Ashton Kutcher on the series.
Next week, Kono will have trouble getting her badge back. Internal affairs wants to use her as an example, and this could mean trouble. The team will also get a new member. Is this Terry O’Quinn’s character or someone else? Peter Lenkov recently teased this new season by saying the following to TV Guide:
“It’s going to be a very different Five-0. The most important thing is that they need to get back together. These people need each other. It’s going to be fun seeing them put the pieces back together.”
Fans are ready to see what happens next on this series. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
