According to the Detriot Free Press, New home sales are heading toward a record low annual rate as volatility continues in the housing market.
Quoted from the U.S. Commerce Department data released Wednesday: “Sales of new single-family homes rose 5.7% in September from August levels, but the seasonally adjusted annual rate of 313,000 new home sales would mark the lowest annual level since record keeping began in January 1963.”(Click here for the article)
When you read about any housing news nowadays, you think back to when you’re driving home from work, or school, and look at all those houses up for sale. It seems like more and more are having that all too familiar sign perched in their front yard. Most people are only thinking one thing, are they next?

One thing is for sure: While we build homes, and fences around those homes to mark our terrritory, and to keep unwanted company out, we have to let God In. Yes, it’s your home physically, but have you given your home over to Lord spiritually? Just something to think about the next time you’re wandering through your house. Have you dedicated your home to the Lord? Have you prayed that he keeps your home calm? That you won’t become one of the millions of Americans out here that are being forclosed on by the banks? Christians, this is going to take prayer; not another policy, or protest-Prayer.

Let God into your house. Pray from the attic to the basement. God has built you home into a fortress of faith, a bridge of peace to those who have lost their way, and a Lighthouse of Salvation for all to see-Especially those that are suffering.
God has built, and is still building that for you in your home. And he’ll never forclose on you.
