San Bernardino, CA – His name is Jupitor and at twelve years of age, he was surrendered to the Devore Animal Shelter.
Little is known of Jupitor’s life – the balls he chased, the lakes he swam in…all that is known is that his elderly owners could no longer care for him and today is his last day.
We do not know the circumstances that surround his owner’s decision…whether they were ill, lost their home, or had to move into an assisted living facility.
We do not know because this lovely old boy cannot tell us his story.
Imagine his dismay at his surroundings? Gone are those things which were familiar – the smells and the sights – most importantly, the faces.
Today is this senior’s last day.
His chances of being adopted without networking are slim to none.
He is a black dog – he is a senior dog – he is among those who are considered “less adoptable”.
