Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound (HSTS) choir competition returns to Washington, DC, Wednesday, September 21 at the Verizon Center.Tickets are still available and can be purchased at Ticketmaster. Doors open at 6:00p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Donald Lawrence and CeCe Winans are the co-hosts and Marvin Sapp is resident judge. Gospel greats Fred Hammond and Shirley Caesar are scheduled to appear as event judges. Choirs that participate in HSTS will have the chance to win up to $50,000.
Several churches from the region will compete including The Tribe Of Judah Choir from The Redeemed Christian Church of God Victory Temple in Bowie, MD and Divine Voices of Praise from Ark Church in Baltimore, MD
