September 19, 2011 – The Vampire Diaries stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev both attended the 2011 Emmy Awards ceremony on Sunday night in L.A.
While the rumored off-screen couple did not walk the red carpet at the same time, they were seen later as they posed for pictures together. Speaking to E! News, as she arrived at the Nokia Theater, Nina got a little shy when asked about Ian, and why he didn’t arrive with her.

“He’s definitely — if I was standing next to him I would be his arm candy,” Nina said, “but um, yeah, I guess that’s all I can say right now…”
The Bulgarian-born actress admitted that she gets a little nervous when talking about Ian, butE! News‘ Giuliana Rancic told her not to worry and that they both make a beautiful couple.

Dressed in a beautiful red Donna Karan strapless dress and dashing Neil Lane necklace, Nina looked amazing.
Nina also did not say anything to the contrary when Giuliana made mention about the rumors regarding her and Ian being an item. Instead, she thanked her when she said they were the most beautiful couple in Hollywood right now.

Meanwhile, the dashing Ian was an actual presenter at the Emmys, giving out the award for Outstanding Directing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Series to Don Roy King with Glee’s Lea Michelle.
