If you are a fan of Canadian ice wines and have often dreamt of a dinner pairing these prized gems, your dreams are finally becoming a reality.
Inniskillin, one of the premier ice wine producers from Canada, is hosting a very special event next month at the prestigious Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore.
The November 10th event will be held at SANTI and feature a seven-course dinner paired with signature Inniskillin wines. This event will mark the first time that many ice wines from the award-winning winery are served in a single seating.
Each course will be paired with a different wine, including three ice wines. Guests will have the opportunity to try award-winning offerings like “Inniskillin Icewine Riesling 2007” and “Inniskillin Icewine Cabernet Franc 2007.” Both of these wines were awarded the Gold Medal at the All Canadian Wine Championships in recognition of their premium quality.
This event is only being held on November 10 and will feature signature SANTI dishes such as the aromatic “Fois Gras Terrine with Inniskillin Icewine, Grapes and Citrus” and “Chocolate Textures”. There will be a representative from the winery present to share his expertise on wine pairings and provide more in-depth information about Inniskillin itself.
Inniskillin was established in 1975 and produces some of the top ice wines in Canada. These small-yield wines typically are quite expensive due to the precision required in every step of the winemaking process – from harvesting frozen grapes at just the right temperature, to the strict selection of grapes, and even the fermentation process.
SANTI pays homage to the late chef, Santi Santamaria from Spain, a three Michelin star chef who owned Can Fabes. Modeled after Can Fabes, SANTI combines Mediterranean culture with the authentic tastes of the Catalan region of Spain.
The Inskillin ice wine dinner at SANTI is priced at S$265+ per person. For information and to make a reservation, please contact the Marina Bay Sands by phone at +65 6688 8501 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
