Houston, there’s a UFO out and about the city, stirring up racial hatred and discontent. In case you haven’t heard the latest from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s rambling on the Jobs Bill, here it goes.
Jackson Lee, Houston’s Congressional District 18 has never been a stranger to controversy, or dumb and racist remarks. First off, she labels conservative bloggers as mess starters by encouraging racial politics. We’re guessing she’s confusing conservative bloggers responses to her party’s racist statements. Isn’t that just like the racist, point the finger away from themselves. Now if you are from around these parts of Texas you’d know, often times when you point one finger at others, there are four fingers pointing back at you.
Jackson Lee went on to show rare discontent with Obama’s job bill by stating, “[B]uy American should be “buy African American.” If by some stroke of luck, the bill does get passed, she states, “contractors who “do not look like” her need to make sure that if they get federal money, their workforce “better be reflective of those suffering double-digit unemployment.”
Jackson Lee’s district is comprised of 36.9% White, 40.4% Black, 3.4% Asian, 35.6% Hispanic, 0.4% Native American, The district’s population is 651,619 and with a median income of $31,293. Jackson Lee has been in office since 1995, in which case, most of those years has been good on the economy, and as such, she has never really had to do anything for the district. It would help is she’d stop by every once and a while. She only shows up when she needs to reaffirm their commitment to re-elect her.
If Jackson Lee ever visit her district, she wouldn’t be able to identify any of the employed. In Houston we know that 100% of that 35.6 Hispanic population in the district will get the jobs if the bill is passed. That would just about cover Houston’s portion of that job’s bill. Oh yeah, did we forget to mention that of that 36.6% of Hispanics, about half are in the country, the state and the city illegally?
To cover the racism that spills from her mouth, Jackson Lee claims, “I don’t consider it discrimination, I don’t consider it affirmative action.” In her mind’s eyes, she actually believes that. That’s why Jackson Lee is a Unidentified Foreign Object to Houston, Texas.
