Jazzlyn Little was the final audition that Oklahoma City fans saw last night from the first season of ‘The X Factor.’ She is a 16 year old sophomore in high school. She was extremely nervous before she went out on the stage and said she felt like a huge case of butterflies were opened and put in her stomach. She has been serious about music for about 4 years now.
When she got on the stage, she told Simon she was nervous because everyone was looking at her now. Simon asked her if she had posted any of her stuff on the internet and she said that she had done one, but only got around 500 hits on it. He told her she was not selling herself well, but you could tell she was so nervous.
Jazzlyn Little sang “I’m Going Down” by Mary J Blige. The second she started singing everyone in the crowd went wild and you could tell this girl had something about her. Jazzlyn had the audience on their feet and the judges dancing in their chairs.
When she was done, the judges were on their feet and cheering her on. They all four gave her a yes and wanted her to go on in the show ‘The X Factor.’ L. A. Reid told her that she even has a star name. Simon said he would love to see what she is like when she has confidence.
‘The X Factor’ airs in the Oklahoma City area on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 pm CST each week.
