Mitt Romney’s just had a tough time lately when it comes to avoiding some criticism from Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show.” During Thursday night’s new episode, for example, the host ended up referring to the politican as the most-popular “second choice” out of anyone during the GOP Presidential field. Then, he went on to analyze some of his various problems.
One of the issues? That there’s always a “hotter” candidate. First, people were interested by in large with some people such as Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin — who didn’t even end up running. Then, Rick Perry came along and was the top dog for a while — but soon after that, he was replaced by Herman Cain. Now, Stewart is doing pretty much everything he can to show how “crazy” this guy ultimately is in his opinion.
At the end of the day, Stewart wrapped up this segment by providing one of the most shocking statistics we’ve seen — despite being in this campaign for a year, Romney has really just locked in the same sort of support now that he had back then.
Do you think we will be seeing mroe of Romney at the end of all this?
