My reaction to this blog is that Wall Street is the perfect place for a protest; and it is gaining attention around the country even though it gets limited media time. The deeper issues are ready to spring forward. There is a dawning realization that the fate of the individual is intimately connected with the fate of the whole. That underlies all the subissues. This may be the time for the dialogue to distill “needs” from “wants” and for us all to look at the pattern of indulgence that is making living together on this crowded planet more difficult. These are creative and caring individuals who are banding together in simplicity and community helping us all face the profound shift so dearly needed in how we perceive our relatedness. I’m curious to hear other’s thoughts on this situation and my response.
