Lindsay Lohan handcuffed and sent to jail after probation violation
It was a rough day for Lindsay Lohan, who was handcuffed and thrown in jail after her probation was revoked by an LA County Superior Court Judge. Lohan was in court on Wednesday for probation violations on court-ordered community service obligations that the former actress failed to complete. Judge Sautner came down hard on Lindsay after learning that she was “fired” from a womens’ center where she was ordered to complete the community service.
Check out the slideshow on your left of Lindsay’s appearance in court on Wednesday. The former actress was looking a little worse for wear and appeared to have bruises on her cheeks with an attempt to camouflage them with heavy rouge.
Lindsay Lohan was ordered to complete 360 hours of community service six months ago for shoplifting a necklace, of which she has completed only 21 hours. The judge’s order originally stated that Lohan was to complete the service at a Los Angeles women’s center, as well as 120 hours at the morgue, but the former child star failed to show up nine days that she was scheduled and left after an hour or so on the days that she did attend. The center “fired” Lohan and she was then given permission by the probation department to finish her time at the Red Cross. Judge Sautner was not happy with the change in her orders and concluded that Lindsay’s time served at the Red Cross would not count towards the 360 hours. Lohan also infuriated the judge when she read Lindsay’s opinion on her time at the women’s center in a report, which Lohan had described as “unfulfilling.”

Lohan mocked by Judge Sautner
Judge Sautner not only mandated that Lindsay’s probation be revoked for failing to complete the required service hours, but openly mocked her in the courtroom. At one point while discussing time needed to complete the service she said, “I mean she is supposed to be an actress from what I hear. I don’t know how much acting work she’s done…”
Lindsay posts bail and prepares for hearing
Judge Sautner set bail at $100,000 after jailing the star and set November 2nd as the date for the hearing that will determine whether or not Lindsay will return to jail for her probation violations. Lindsay was prepared as to the likelihood of jail as she had a bail bondsman in the courtroom with her. TMZ reported that Lohan could be sentenced to a year and a half in county jail on Nov. 2nd, although the judge did say that with overcrowding that might not happen.
