The “Long Island Medium” continues to gather more fans as people are becoming mesmerized with this new show on TLC. Teresa Caputo not only amazes viewers with her abilities to talk to the dead as the “Long Island Medium,” but she hooks you in because her own personality is bigger than life. While the jury’s still out for many, when it comes to Caputo’s psychic gift, each week more believers are born after watching this medium from Long Island at work, as seen on a clip from AOL News.
Teresa Caputo is not shy and she certainly doesn’t sugar coat a thing. Whatever it is she is hearing from the dead, it comes out the way she’s heard it, bringing on as many laughs as tears to the people she’s reading. While people say she talks to the dead, it’s more like the dead talk to her, so much so, that she can’t get away from it at times. Even a mundane shopping trip turns into a reading on aisle 5 of a supermarket because the dead are urging this medium to stop the lady who just put a box of cereal in her cart.
The “Long Island Medium” has caught the eye of the nation and she’s building her fan base up each week as she continues her dance with the dead. Last Sunday, when Teresa went to “cleanse a house” with sage, which is something that’s done to get rid of unwanted spirits, she had one spirit hang on who wasn’t going anywhere. Teresa visited a woman who just moved into a new home and she called Teresa because she felt like something was off in the house. While she couldn’t explain what it was, the feeling was disturbing to her and the house cleansing with sage was performed by the “Long Island Medium,” to rid that feeling.
The woman’s dead father was there and was adamant about Teresa giving his daughter, the home owner, a message. It caught the woman off guard because Teresa wasn’t asked to come and give her a reading, just to cleanse her house. Teresa hit the nail on the head when it came to knowing personal stuff about the dead father, so her house cleansing trip turned into the dead passing on a message. This is how Teresa’s life goes, when she least expects it the dead are there wanting her to pass along a message, sometimes to strangers on the street.
The “Long Island Medium” gives people that closure with their dead loved ones, which they might not have gotten for one reason or another on their own. Another uncanny bit of information that Teresa seems to pull from nowhere is how that person died and who was with them when they passed away. It isn’t guess work on her part; she just knows it as if she was there when it happened. Teresa is much more believable than any of the other psychics who’ve graced the TV screen in the past, just the first 10 minutes into any of her “Long Island Medium” episodes is evidence of this.
Her readings aren’t generic, they’re tailor made. She really goes into great detail with information that pertains to the dead individuals, with things that would be impossible for her to know unless that dead person was really there in spirit telling her these things. The only explanation for this is that Teresa Caputo really does have the dead around her!
Sunday nights on TLC come alive with Teresa talking to the dead at 10pm ET.
