Looking for some unique Halloween events in Connecticut? Aside from all our great haunted houses and hayrides, Connecticut offers some really unique occult attractions! We are of course the home to the ghost hunting Warrens.
The Warren Museum
Lorraine Warren, the surviving half of the paranormal investigation team which consisted of Ed and Lorraine Warren, owns the Warren Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. Ms. Warren frequently lectures about her paranormal research, which has been the basis for several films. The Warrens investigated famous hauntings like that of the Snedeker property in Southington (the basis for the movie ‘A Haunting in Connecticut’) and the Amityville haunting case. Today people can visit the Warren Occult museum, which is the home of numerous artifacts, all said to cursed or haunted. Among the haunted items in the Warren’s museum are:
- An evil Raggedy Ann doll
- Child tomb stones from a Satanic Alter
- A haunted organ that plays by itself
- A shrunken head
