MAC Cosmetics is releasing a new line next week on Thursday, September 22: Styledriven. The colors are designed for multiple hours of usage after application. There are lipglasses, lip pencils, lipcremes, and eyeshadows. There are many items in this collection, and these products are certainly going to be very well received when they are made available next week. This is a collection for those who do not want to continually apply make-up throughout the day.
The first item that I reviewed is a pro longwear lipglass in Full Speed Ahead. The color is described as a bright pink-magenta, and the lip glasses retail for $18.50. This color in particular is highly pigmented. It goes onto the lips perfectly and lasts for several house. There are a total of 9 shades released. The other colors are: Ready or Not! (a neutral light coral with slight pearlized pigments), Driven by Love, (a red-blue with slight pearlized pigments), Dark as Night (deep mid-tone purple with slight pearlized pigments), Lasting Achievement (mid-tone purple with slight pearlized pigments), Infinitely Likeable (light pink), Patience, Please (light pink-blue), Whoops! (bright coral), and Show Me! (mid-tone neutral plum).
The next item reviewed was a pro longwear lip pencil in the shade More to Love (intense bluish pink). They retail for $18.00. There are a total of 10 in this collection. Upon application, the color is very pigmented, and is definitely going to be a popular color. This would work very well as a base for another lipstick as well. The other lip pencil colors include: Nice ‘n’ Spicy (pink), Bittersweet (Intense brown), Absolutely It (Soft burgundy), Morning Coffee (Mid-tone rose), What a Blast! (Bright orange), Etcetera (Creamy beige), Kiss Me Quick (Yellow red), Staunchly Stylish (Pinky beige), and In Anticipation (soft yellow pink).
Next up was a pro longwear lipcreme in Positively Dashing which is a mid-tone berry blue-red. These products retail for $17.00 and there are a total of 11 shades. The other shades are Soft Sell (light yellow-pink), Dress It Up (light blue-pink), So Very Good (mid-tone plum with pearl), Till Tomorrow (mid-tone dirty mauve), To the Future! (dirty neutral pink with pearl), Good to Go (bright orange), Extended Play (Dirty red), Prolong Clean (red with blue undertone and pearl), Endless Drama (deep berry blue-red), Soulfully Rich (deep dirty purple with red pearl).
The final two items that I reviewed are two of the 16 pro longwear eyeshadows. These eyeshadows retail for $20.00. The first shade that I reviewed is Tease with Ease (bright fuchsia), and Style Driven (pale white blue). Upon application, the colors are very true to the pan color.
The eyeshadow colors include: Carefree (pale white gold), Pink Frontier (soft golden pink), Sunny Outlook (bright golden yellow), Sweet Satisfaction (soft neutral beige), One to Watch (light warm brown), Lie Low (dark frosted golden brown), Plush (vivid purple), Thru the Night (deep navy), Fresh Flare (bright kelly green), Hot Paprika (mid-tone burnt red), Make Your Mark (dark chocolate), Keep Your Cool (dark grey brown), Legendary Black (warm almost black), Weathered (dirty blue grey).
The MAC collection features a stunning array of products and shades to choose from, and this is a collection that many MAC collectors are going to be excited about.
