A lot of rumors are going around about different aspects of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. A few of these are: 1) New Multiplayer Gameplay, 2) No killstreaks. In other words, if you have 5 kills, and you die, it doesn’t reset. Now that is an idea in which I don’t really know if it is a good one or not. Yes, its cool to know that you didn’t just waste your killstreak after dying, or you only had one more kill to go before getting that “awesome” killstreak. This will probably make the game a whole lot more interesting and a whole lot more aggravating at the same time.
An issue was raised when they released information concerning a new gameplay with dog tags. Some gamers were interested to know if you would get the kill and the XP if they did succeed in wasting the enemy, but didn’t retrieve the dog tags that were dropped.
The answer is yes. If you make the kill, you do get rewarded for it. However, if you don’t retrieve the dog tags, its just your team that suffers for it. This game is based upon team players. Where a kill is made and the team has to ensure that the dog tags are secured for their team. If the opposing team makes the grab on dog tags that fell from their teammate, then your team doesn’t get the points. The opposing team doesn’t get any points for making the grab, they just ensured that the other team is denied the points themselves.
Not a lot will be different with the new Modern Warfare 3 game. However, the “Elite” package is definitely something that needs some attention brought to it. Elite will bring players together with a similar playing style. In other words, if you like to play Hardcore Team Deathmatch all the time, it will link you up with those players that like the same things. You can also create clans and join other clans in the Elite Program. It is free for all, however, there is a $50 per year fee for those gamers who want more out of their experience in Modern Warfare 3. All in all, its going to be a great game with great multiplayer, and I for one, can’t wait to play it!
