It’s easy to tell when liberals are losing the argument – they get more shrill and more outrageous.
Consider MSNBC host Ed Schultz. The man who once got a good laugh over a collar that would electrocute Glenn Beck, falsely accused Rep. Paul Ryan of “inciting civil war” and suggested Republicans “want violence to take place in our society.”
Schultz took exception with Ryan’s speech where the congressman called out President Obama for sowing the seeds of civil unrest and class warfare.
The man who once called coservative talk show host Laura Ingraham a “right wing slut” was incensed that Ryan would refer to the President’s positions as “straw man arguments.”
Schultz, like most liberals, thinks no one should be allowed to disagree with Obama about anything.
If anyone in America has been sowing the seeds of civil war and revolution, it is liberals like Schultz. Just google “Occupy Wall Street”.
In fact, it was fellow MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan who said violent revolution in America is necessary.
“Are things in our country so bad that it might actually be time for a revolution?” Ratigan asked last November. “The answer obviously is yes,” he added, and “the only question is how to do it.”
It is liberals like Schultz who say they want to see Republicans dead, and it is liberals like Schultz who tweet messages calling for the assassination of prominent Republicans.
Schultz, naturally, says nothing about these events – and that silence speaks volumes. Does Schultz support the call to murder Sarah Palin? Does Schultz want to see all Republicans dead like some on the left?
Not content to be the only rabid leftist on the program, Schultz then brought on former Florida Congressman Alan Grayson, perhaps one of the most unhinged individuals ever to serve in the House of Representatives.
“For Paul Ryan or any Republican to talk about this, to talk about the president inciting the politics of division is much like O.J. saying he’s going to devote his life to finding the real killer. They’re the real killers,” Grayson said, true to form.
Naturally, liberals have no problem fomenting socialist revolution on America’s streets where protesters hang bankers in effigy, and spout Hitlerian rhetoric blaming Jews for the economy.
Schultz will have credibility when he calls out liberals for the violence they are fomenting in America’s streets. Until then, he is just another left wing bombthrower taking up space at the network of left wing bombthrowers.
