Shaw Gallery of Fine Art in Naples has announced its schedule of upcoming events and shows for the 2011/2012 exhibition season. Highlights include:
- Michelle Torrez, February 10, 2012
- Hessam Abrishami, March 9, 2012
- Giner Bueno, on a day and time yet to be determined
“Dynamic composition, powerful expression and vibrant colors along with great imagination.” These are but some of the accolades lavished upon the paintings of Persian born artist Hessam Abrishami. He creates works of amazing depth and dimension that intrigue and disarm the viewer. Hessam paints passionately, influenced by his dramatic life experience, and the world is responding enthusiastically. Hessam has exhibited throughout Europe, Asia and North America. The French press has called his paintings “a statement in the fluidity of human figures . . . with tension between each figure, a kinship that provokes the viewer to seek reasons for such a relationship”. It is no wonder that his works have been described as “taking the onlooker to a realm of suggestion and mystical beauty . . . where everything is alive with a sense of everlasting fluid motion.”
Giner Bueno‘s canvases present a wonderfully unique look at Spanish coastal life. His plein-air compositions reflect images of everyday working class fishermen, peaceful seascapes, and women wearing traditional dresses keeping watchful eye on children at the beach or at market. The disarming manner in which Bueno depicts the simplistic Mediterranean life has truly earned him the right to be called one of Spain’s most accomplished Impressionist masters. He has participated in more than 50 shows throughout Europe and regularly exhibits at Sala Llorens in Barcelona and the Sala Ingres in Madrid, and his canvases have been featured by galleries throughout Spain and now the United States.
More than 40 nationally and internationally acclaimed artists are proud to be represented by Shaw Gallery of Fine Art.
