After some issues this past weekend that saw the New Orleans Saints lose just about every offensive lineman and linebacker they have thanks to injuries, good news is finally coming their way. Thursday’s injury report saw a couple familiar names back in action and one unexpected big man already on the field again.
Did Not Practice:
- RT Zach Strief – knee
- C Olin Kreutz – knee
- LB Martez Wilson – right clavicle
- LB Will Herring – hamstring
- TE David Thomas – concussion
- LB Jonathan Vilma – knee
- WR Marques Colston – right clavicle
- LB Jonathan Casillas – right foot
- DT Shaun Rogers – right elbow
Coach Sean Payton stated that Colston will be worked into the game plan for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing only two games with a broken collarbone. Colston was expected to be out at least four weeks. The Saints’ receiver stated he is prepared to play the whole game if coaches will let him.
