Obama needs to lead not plead. In the past few weeks, President Obama has been groveling not governing. The only official duty he has performed in that time was addressing the United Nations. Other than that, Obama has attended seven fundraisers and ordered the Congressional Black Caucus to stop complaining.
Black voters supported Obama giving him 95% of their vote in 2008 and he chides them for complaining. Unemployment for Blacks is 16%. Among Black youths, unemployment is 50%. Obama tells them they have little reason to complain.
We Americans also are not to complain. We can’t complain that our health care costs have increased 9% after Obamacare when we were promised costs would decrease. We definitely should not complain when the administration squandered over $1 billion to failed solar companies and now they continue to lend another $1 billion to more solar panel firms.
The executives and investors of these solar panel firms receiving billions of our tax dollars have been huge donors and campaign bundlers for Obama’s campaigns. Though we’re not entitled to complain how our tax dollars are being spent.
Complaining and blaming former President Bush are Obama’s best assets. He blames Republicans for everything wrong in the country. While speaking to a group of Hispanics earlier this week, he blamed Republicans for not passing the Dream Act. Yet, he didn’t need Republican votes to pass Obamacare but he continuously blames Republicans for stalled legislation. Obama knows full well that Democrats would have taken more than a shellacking last November had they passed the Dream Act or voted to raise taxes.
Presidents are elected to lead the country. Americans will respect a leader who is committed to his decisions. Obama is only committed to himself and the luxuries of the office. He definitely doesn’t want competition in the complaint department.
Come November of 2012, we should order Obama to lead his family out of the White House. He can complain all he wants once he’s out of office.
Final Thought: North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue must have the same joke writer as singer Sheryl Crowe. Perdue claimed her comment about suspending elections was a joke much like Crowe’s remark several yeas ago suggesting people use only one sheet of toilet paper. These women should not quit their day jobs. When Cedric The Entertainer delivers a punch line, he gets immediate laughter. It doesn’t take him days to explain his humor.
